Surprise......Another Cousin

We think that little Blakely really didn't want to be much younger than his new cousin Henry, so he decided that it was time to get out of his mommy's tummy last night so they could be just 2 days apart!

We are so glad he is here and loving congratulations to Jeremy, Amy and Big Brother Colden!

Our Sparkie and Cubbie

Joshua and Matthew have been in Awana this past year...and just loving it. We found a wonderful local church that has a great program and every Wednesday evening Brett brings the boys. He is able to stay there while they are in club and cheer them on during game time. This week Joshua received " The Sparkie of the Month" award. He has been doing awesome with his workbook..he has already finished it twice this year and finally got to move up to the next level book. That is sure a lot of Bible verses to learn for a 6year old! Matthew has been making his way through his Cubbies Book...learning lots of verses and enjoying the stories about Cubbie Bear, Love E. Lamb and Ern E. Elephant.

Easter...Last Week

We had a beautiful day on Easter...the best we can remember this early in the season! It was great to go to church with no coats and see everyone dressed up!! After a wonderful church service giving thanks and glory to God for the incredible meaning of the Resurrection we came home to take some pictures and have Brett's family over for brunch. Really, Brett tried and tried to get a good picture of all three but that is just a bit hard with sun in your eyes! Not to mention the challenge of getting a 6, 3 and 10 month old to sit still, look straight and smile on cue!!! We did enjoy the day.. Here are some pics of Brenna showing off her new sun glasses, Matthew passing the time with a backyard trike ride and Aunt Tara giving the little ones a squeeze.

Another Cousin

Little Henry James Westcott joined our family this week. Renee and Dan had him Wednesday April 7th!!! He is doing great...we hear from his daddy's emails... and little Lydia got to meet him today.

We are so happy that the Lord has blessed Dan, Renee and Big Sister Lydia with another baby to love!!!

Not a Normal April

Check out the boys the other day having a picnic out in bathing suits on April 2nd....how crazy is that. It is never warm enough for a water fight early in April....we sure are loving it though. I even got my screens and windows all cleaned a month early. I think it looks funny because there are no leaves on any trees!!!!

While they were outside Brenna realized she could talk to them out the windows and loved banging on the screens. She got excited in this picture because she could see Sophia coming over.

Here is Natasha - my new neighbor and wonderful friend - with Sophia who is 5 weeks older than Brenna. She is such a sweet baby and has TONS of hair....Joshua actually thought maybe she wore a wig....she is almost ready for her second haircut!

Fishing

Look Kaylee your Daddy is on the computer!!! Little Kaylee Burr (4 years old) loves our blog so makes her mommy (Sara) show it to her often....so this one is for you!!!

Brett and Brian got up very early Saturday morning and headed out to the "secret stream" for some trout fishing. What a beautiful day it was...they each caught some beautiful rainbows and they were delicious!!! Glad you guys had fun!

Backwards Matthew

This one is from last week getting ready for church - it was a cold day- Matthew got dressed all by himself but sorta got things turned around. He came down holding his Bible so proud of himself. The thing is that he mostly gets things turned around when he gets dressed...pants are on backwards more ofen than forwards. This morning though EVERYTHING was backwards...even the undies! He did get the socks on right though but if we had given him some more time I am sure even the shoes would have been on the wrong feet.

He had no idea why we were taking these pictures...Love this one with the zipper up the back and check out the belt too...belted backwards...quite a talent!
