This is my new favorite flower that I have potted out on the back patio. I really did not know what it was, and was delighted this weekend when I turned over one of the little red balls to find this beautiful purple flower emerging. They look like little ornaments or bells almost and grow upside down so you have to peak under to see how pretty they are. Thanks to Natasha I now know that they are Purple and Red Hanging Fuchsia's.

Friday was Wacky Hair Day for Joshua at school. We went for the spiked look with added sparkle thanks to glitter glue! He thinks he would have won a contest if the school would have had one. 
This week Joshua finished his first year at AWANA. He completed 83 sections and was honored at the awards night with doing so well. We loved working on his books with him this past year and will be practicing lots of verses over the summer. Great Job Joshua on all your hard work!
Last week I captured this picture of Brenna after she had picked up one of Matthew's arrows, placed it in her mouth and took off crawling with him chasing her. I laughed as I thought how much she plays with boys toys and loves them. 
How fun to see her in a "girly" outfit. I am sure there will be lots of dress-up play with this on for years to come. The fun thing is that it matches the dress of the Cinderella Doll that Ella and Janine sent her for her Birthday...at last some girl toys.,.. but she sure loves that bow and arrow set!!
Matthew's Cake was great - it was chocolate with chocolate filling . He has been asking for a cake like this for a full year and he finally got his wish for his "Army Cake"
