The Adventure of Room Sharing

We just put the boys down to sleep for the first time in the same room. The big bunk beds arrived today and they are so excited....we are a little nervous that they may be in there playing forever but hey....we all shared and have fun memories doing it!!

Catching Mice

Well about 2 weeks ago we were woken up in the middle of the night with strange noises above our heads - all night there were little scurries of feet and we knew our first invasion with rodents had occurred.

I called the Pest people the next day to find out it was like $180.00 to come and set up some poison....well we figured we could do this ourselves. The funny think is that Brett, as all of you know, as been known to "catch" quited a few wildlife in his days, had a sensitive side for mice. He decided to just get the sticky traps that make their feet stick and then you remove them and he was going to let them go in the woods- so kind!

Apparently those don't work that well though and the next night I hear this strange sliding sound above my head and find in the morning they had eaten the peanut butter but freed their sticky fee.

So finally we shelled out the 0.97 cents for 2 traditional mousetraps - they work great! So far we have caught 2...I wonder how many more there are??????
