More Cute Glasses Faces

Well Brett has been doing this "put his glasses on the kids" trick for quite some time. I found an old photo of Emily as a baby......and of course last week it was Cole's turn!!

Cousins

We had a wonderful visit last week with my sister Amy and her adorable son Colden. They flew in from Seattle to play with us. The boys had a great time with little Cole. He just made himself right at home doing his "army crawl" all over the house. We had lots of fun cooking dinners, chatting, watching our children just love each other and play together and sharing a week of our lives together. Thank you so much for your visit Amy!!

The New Swing Set

Brett and Grandpa have been very busy the last week building the boys a big playset. Here are some photo's of the days (yes I said days - like 5 or so) that it was being built. Everyone is having a great time with it and Brett finished it up on Fathers Day! What a great dad!!!

Brett decided the other evening to try out his glasses on Brenna - I don't think she was thrilled but there were two other children who though they looked pretty funny!!!

Brenna Loves to Sleep

Well.....we just are loving our new baby. So far she is such a calm baby and loves to sleep. I took pictures of two favorite sleep spots. One is in her stroller - notice the adorable hat that Aunt Amy made for her and the other is on the floor of the bathroom with the vent on.....

Matthew is 3

Last week Matthew turned 3 years old ~ He is pretty sure that he is a BIG BOY now! He is really enjoying riding his new big bike (just like Joshua's). We have been able to go on some pretty long walks and his little legs just keep pedaling and pedaling....

I cannot believe that it was 3 years ago that he was born.....too fast the years are flying. Brett and I are so happy being parents to our "little boy" as we still think of him. We pray that the Lord will continue to allow him to grow and mature in to a "big boy" that just loves Jesus and people and that Matthew's ability to be so sweet will allow him a special sensitivity as he ages to want to help and protect others.

Memorial Day Fun

This past week we went to our friends for a fun afternoon of great food (thank you for the lunch Sara) and some great fishing. The kids all love the big pond behind the house, wait....who am I kidding I think the dad's love the big pond also!!!!

The best things about this pond are that.....

- It is right behind their house

- Everyone catches fish every time we go

- There are even "big" bass in it for the dad's

- If you are one of the Long Boys--you can swim in it!
