Joshua's First Library Card

Here is Joshua getting his first library card a few weeks ago!

Space Show

A few weeks ago it was time for the Kindergarten Space Show.  I think that Matthew knows more about space than I do at this point.  I was fun hearing him learn about all the planets and a great way for us as a family to appreciate the wonder of the world that God has made.  Great Job Mac on learning so much and being  great "space" guy in your school program.

First Lost Tooth

Hurray!!! The first tooth is out!

Matthew is quite excited to be added to the list of kids in his class who have lost a tooth (infact, I think they are keeping a tally because daily we hear how many teeth each one has lost!!!)  A week later #2 came out so we are on a roll.

The Make-Up Day

Every little girl eventually walks down the steps with the tell-tail signs of playing with their mommy's makeup smeared over their faces.

This was Brenna's day!

She had tried to wipe it off with her wipes, she told me, and sure enough when I went up to check there was a pile of pink tinted wipes in the garbage!!! I had to just laugh and give her kisses and tell her that the next time we would "do make-ups" as she calls it together!

Bragging About My Wreath

A few weeks ago Natasha - aka.. my best next door neighbor friend ever-- posted a wreath on her Pinterest board that I loved. I had been looking for a spring wreath but was not finding anything so I commissioned her to help me out.

We took apart an old mirror that I had and used the rectangle frame as a base. Then I bought like only $12 worth of floral stuff from Hobby Lobby and she stood at my kitchen counter one morning while we chatted and glued away and this is what we got!

I love it - Thanks so much Natasha for making it for me. It makes me smile every time I pull in the driveway!

100th Day of School

Matthew has reached the 100th day of Kindergarten! I love this school tradition and so do the kids. They work all week at at making groups of 100 and did some special home projects with counting to 100. Then they made fancy crowns and shirts and paraded throughout the school!

Well so much for my nice pictures, it was a Friday and the boys were ready to get a bit silly!
This is Matthew's project of designing a snowman. Daddy and him created a Medieval Knight snowman...he won Most Creative for it!

1 day of Snow

This is the winter of NO snow and I really mean NO snow. Maybe 1-3 inches like 2 times--that is it. I did manage to capture one picture of Brenna when she could finally get on some snow gear and go out and play.
