Yummy Dinner..
I really don't have anything interesting to say but I am smelling wonderful smells in my kitchen. I dug out mom's Hot German Potato Salad Recipe and am making that with Bratwurst (the Turkey variety because they are supposedly more healthy). It is a chilly fall day - sunny and 50 degrees with leaves on the ground so this sounded like a good fall meal.

I'm SOOO jealous! I wanted some German potatoes earlier this week! It was a warm (high 80s) sunny day in H-town. I hit up the mall with Lydia after her 6 month shots (tears).
let me add to renee's comment... this week on the news they said how much they are enjoying this "fall like" weather... Yup high of 88 is fall like in Texas. Really, the weather was really nice cuz the humidity was low and it didn't feel like you were walking through hot waterfall mist all day.
Fall weather on the east coast is delicious. Caramel apples, the sights and aroma of the changing foliage...just breath-taking. Dear friend, send us some of that autumn-inspired German potato salad in a white business envelope. Mmmm, soggy delicious mail.
It is beach day in Corpus Christi! We had appetizers at a bayside spot. Sure could go for some Becker Farms apple cider and a donut. Enjoy your fall weather and food.
