It Came Too Fast...

Every Mommy knows what this means....take a look.

Yes, it is true..the first day of Kindergarten is here. I stood up on the ladder of his bunk bed last night and prayed for my little boy that he would be protected..loved..tought..and cared for in a new way today. That brings many tears to my eyes as I have had him with me for so many years and now he moving onto a whole new adventure. He is so looking forward to craft time, computers, art and all the other fun things he will get to do. He is hoping a Field Trip comes soon!!! I will miss him and so will Matthew.

Brett just called to say he found his spot with the green peas in the cafeteria just fine and even daddy had a few tears in his eyes as he left him there will all the other kids.

Have a fun day Joshua!!

Hmm... a 5-year old going into his first days of kindergarten with a broken wrist... I'm sure he'll turn out alright. Hope he has a fantastic day!

Josh - you are such a big, handsome boy. I hope you love your new teacher and make lots of friends!

OK... now I'm sad thinking that Colden will have to leave me and go to school someday too ;)

Today as I looked at Josh's baby picture, I could not believe how fast time has gone by. How can our first grandchild, our first baby, be staring school already! He is still the same sweet precious angel that I cradled in my arms the day he was born. With all the love and guidance he receives he can only get better. His adventure has just begun. I am so blessed to be a part of it. Love you lots my Joshua Darryl!!!

For sure this is one of the toughest moments of motherhood. I remember it well... and no, I couldn't keep it together... Call me if you need me! You've done a great job preparing him and laying a great foundation - I'm sure he'll do amazing!

Congratulations Joshua! Emily is very proud of you and excited you get to go to big school like her. Now, you two can talk about all the important things in life, like who has the nicest teacher and what's good in the lunch line. :) Love you!

What a big boy :) The pictures are sooo cute.

I think he will be pretty popular with that cast on his arm. I remember when I was a kid I always thought every kid that had a cast was sooo lucky, because it was so cool and it was such an honor to sign a friend's cast. (Yes, I was a little weird). I bet he will come home with a bunch of autographs on his cast and a bunch of new friends :)

Hope the day went well :)
