Patio Flowers

This is my new favorite flower that I have potted out on the back patio. I really did not know what it was, and was delighted this weekend when I turned over one of the little red balls to find this beautiful purple flower emerging. They look like little ornaments or bells almost and grow upside down so you have to peak under to see how pretty they are. Thanks to Natasha I now know that they are Purple and Red Hanging Fuchsia's.

Yes, these are fushia's. My Mom always had these growing in big pots as a child. They grow like crazy in the Seattle/portland area. We had two big hanging baskets of them last year.

They are gorgeous and they attract Humming birds by the dozen :) The humming birds love the Fushia's sweet nectar.

I agree with Renee, Gods creation is amazing.

Fushias are my favorite also!! The beauty is amazing!!
