For our last summer trip we FINALLY made it to see out awesome buddies the Dueck's in beautiful Hudson Valley where they have been living for just over a year now. It was fun to get all 6 kids together and let them have at it. Basically it was just a lot of playing in the pool and baseball and sword fighting. We only were able to get a few pictures...it is kinda busy looking after 5 kiddo's 7 and under. We never even managed a picture of the adults at all...so sad.

This is their huge and beautiful backyard where Brett tossed lots of balls to awaiting batters.
We went to a pretty local park..always a great hit!
Then we went to arboretum...that is a new word for me...basically a beautiful area of gardens and trees that was surrounded by a huge deer fence!!!
It was a fun weekend but we had to leave a bit early because Hurricane Irene was heading right into our path and unfortunately it did hit them pretty hard....were we were sleeping was in a bad flooded state a few hours later so good things we were gone (at least good for us but lots of work for them) So So Sorry J &J for all the water!!!
