Brenna Gets Her Ears Pierced

Brenna had been asking for months to "Get Holes" in her ears.  She would bring it up all the time asking if she was getting old enough for earrings.  We talked about it and I just let it go but then one afternoon I went to find her and she was sitting on the floor in her bedroom with her doctor kit out.  She had the "shot" needle from her play toy pushed up to her ears.  When I asked her what she was doing she said trying to get the hole into her ears so she could have earrings.  We decided that she really wanted them so when her Aunt Amy was here for a visit we took off "just the girls" to the mall.

Here she is - thankfully 2 girls did piercing at the exact same time so it was over quickly.  She never even squirmed and just said that it pinched for a minute.
