It is always to sad to say goodbye to summer up here in the north, even though we do look forward to the changing of the seasons. We quickly put away our sundresses, sandals, swim suits and shorts and pull out the jeans and sweatshirts. It is amazing how in a matter of a few weeks we can tell that the sun is sitting a bit lower in the sky, the night sounds have changed, the clouds seem to float a bit darker above our heads and the days shorten.
Goodbye Summer...Welcome Fall

Aw, I'm kind of sad for you that summer is over and jealous of it at the same time!
What great pictures. I love Brenna's beautiful dress! Absolutely LOVE the picture of you walking through the garden with the kids....that should be blown up and framed.
I love Fall but I am not a fan of the short days :( and the amount of rain we see here.
