I just got home from bringing Joshua and Matthew to visit Papa (Brett's 92 year old grandfather) and help him with lunch today and I have a funny story.
There is a lady "Marion" who is always sitting out by the nurses area with her walker and she is very friendly and always makes a fuss over the boys when we go there. This is totally normal and I know lots of the people are glad to see children but today after she asked her usual questions of who they were, their names and ages and such , she then asked what breed they were?
This caught me off guard a bit and I leaned over and said "What did you just ask me?"
She replied "What breed are they?"
I said "Those two? Do you mean what Nationality are they?"and pointed at Josh and Matthew who were just standing there.
"No" she says - "What breed are they? I have always had cockapoo's myself"
I just could not help myself and burst out laughing. I pointed at Joshua and Matthew again and explained that they were humans, two little boys, and they were not dogs at all.
"Oh, your kidding", she exclaimed.
I then walked away.

I'm not sure I would have handled that very well :) At least cockapoos are cute, but still...
Do you think you'll stop and talk to her next time? You could really throw her off by putting the boys on leashes.
Next time ask her if she wants to pet them since they do not bite!
Really, I wonder if that will be me someday?
