First Ice-Skating Adventure

Yesterday we went to Lincoln Park Arena with Uncle Keith, Aunt Tara and Tristan ice-skating for the afternoon. Tristan was a pro out there ...he has been taking lessons and just headed out around the rink with no fear. Joshua did great for his first time out on a "real" ice skating rink - no frozen pond stuff here...it was a lot smoother he thought. Matthew was a bit scared at first but thankfully they had "walkers" that he could use and after an hour or so of getting comfortable on the ice he was out there on his own with a bit of help from daddy!

You have the most adorable family ever!! Picture perfect :)

I absolutely love the picture of Matthew on the ice rink with the walker and the look of fear on his face!! and how adorable is Brenna with that cute knit hat and a huge smile!! Also, Joshua looks like such a pro on the ice rink. He makes it look so easy. How did he get the hang of it so quickly?? It would take me days before I could even stand up on ice, let alone actually skate on it:)

She does look super cute in that hat! And, I never would have thought to put helmets on the kids when skating - obviously! (Since, we've never really been skating, we have a few things to learn). They look great out there! Is hockey up next?

Dear Josh & Mac,
you look a lot like mini Sydney Crawfords! So adorable and big you're getting! And Brenna, sweet Brenna, you better count your lucky stars that we don't live closer, because I'd personally smother you with my asthmatic kisses! We love you! Christina, you're the hottest mom around! xoxox

Does my heart good seeing all my grand children together and having a great time with eachother and their wonderful parents. I skated there when I was little and I know Nani must have walked there with both Tara and Brett when they were little.... memories..light the corners of my heart....

What happy kids!!! I bet Joshua will master the ice in not time! Maybe you should talk them over to the ponds on River Oaks golf course someday. Now the real question is: are the boys going to represent Team Canada or Team US in 2022? And when will Josh fit into the official Team Italia coat from the 2006 Olympics? Nana
