Daddy has been busy passing the late winter nights away building 2 little work benches in the basement. He first fixed up his own then set to work on little models of the big one. The boys have been thrilled with them. For the past month there have been lots of nights Brenna and I play upstairs and listen to the little chatter of boys voices as they are "working" on some things. They each have their own tools, clamps, safety glasses and "ear muffs" as they call them. Brett has really enjoyed his time down there with them and I think they are working on some surprise projects for this spring! I will keep you all posted on what creations come out of the basement.

How awesome is that?! It makes me want to have to a basement :)
Great Job Brett!
Brett, you are a wonderful father. You are investing in your son's in an amazing way!
Dad D.
How fantastic! I wish I could send Lydia over during the day to play tools with Matt. She LOVES tools (we don't have play tools...she likes the real ones...injury waiting to happen). Maybe Henry will get some tools she can play with. Great job, Brett! When can we fly you down to build us one?
Uncle Brett - we'll be ready for you to come build Colden and workbench in about 3 years :)
So cute! Can't wait to see more!
Nice work uncle Chip. I especially like the bottom picture because it looks like Brett is wearing a small, gray birthday bonnet on his head.
What a great idea!! I love the little work benches :) They look adorable in the worker gear. I cant wait to see what sort of cool things they create :)
