Christmas Day

Merry Christmas!!!

I love my cousin Colden who gave this to me says Matthew as he opens his first remote control flip car!! Brenna opens her lollipop ornament from Matthew.
Daddy mostly spent his time trying to free toys from their packaging and inserting batteries! Nana and Brenna tear into some more gifts. Paca smiling with his new Tilly Hat.
Just want Joshua has wanted..thank you Emily!!
Mac is trying out his new Scooter.
Nanna Theresa and Brenna Joshua and Brenna playing with their new toys. Uncle Justin bought the boys real army uniforms...what a fantastic gift yes, they have worn them every day!!

Daddy, Matthew and Brenna taking a rest.
Paca and Joshua with "Giggles" his new Mushabelly. Thank you Paca for taking so much time to help Josh learn how to take care of his new "pet".
Mom Long and Uncle John made a delicious Italian Meal for Christmas Dinner. It was so nice to have the food just show up that day. Mom DeSutter made a fantastic pecan pies (I would take a picture- it was quite beautiful- but both pies have been eaten!). Paca provided some new tasty wines and I made bread and a salad.

Christmas Eve Night

On Christmas Eve we opened our first family present. Pallina - it was good for a few rounds then it was time for the traditional opening of the new Christmas PJ'. Even Brenna got her first new jammies this year...so cozy everyone was as they scooted up to bed for the night.

Christmas is not complete without some Wolf's Chocolates!

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas my mom and dad were able to come in from Texas to spend Christmas with us. They made it in time despite a LONG delay at the Houston airport and finally made it as far as Cleveland, OH. Then they rented a car and drove the rest of the was to our home. There was just no getting to Buffalo on a plane that day!!! We are sure glad that they came....it is always fun to have family staying with you for Christmas.

Here we are before heading out for Christmas Eve Church Service.

Time for Decorating

This year it was Matthew's turn to hang the first ornament on the tree.. he was so proud. Joshua then got to put out snowman tree topper on.....he needed a boost from dad though!
We let the boys to almost the whole tree this year...it is so cute to see some parts have lots more decoration than others.....that night we cleverly "re-arraigned" a few things.

Christmas Tree 2009

In a few days we will be posting Christmas Pictures so I had better hurry and share some tree pictures first! A few weeks ago we ventured out to a great little tree farm close to our home to "Pick Out the Tree". We actually have purchased a few trees for our yard from this farm....ummmmmm why do they cost so much more if you want to actually plant and keep them??????? I do understand it is the whole digging and planting process but still.

Brenna was asleep in her carrier so Brett grabbed a tree sled and she and Matthew went for a ride!
Boys posing with the tree.

Daddy sawing it down.

Joshua was all wanting to drag it down but Matthew was most interesting in measuring it!!

Loving My Food

We finally starting feeding Brenna some baby food...she is loving it. Plus Nanna Theresa made sure she had a fancy new high chair for food adventures. Thanks Nanna Brenna is loving it and I love cleaning it - so easy to wipe off.
She is even trying to get the hang of a sippy.
