Anyone for Broccoli??

Matthew came up to me yesterday and asked if he could have a piece of broccoli from the garden. He often goes and picks one of the small crowns and eats it raw--no big deal. Well check out his pick this time. He ate every last bit if it too!

Yep, the ice cream truck!

Joshua came running upstairs to tell me that I didn't need to bother getting him ice cream out of the freezer because daddy said he could have it from the ice cream truck instead. YEAH!! This is the first time this summer that we conceded to the loud whimsical music of the truck and its shrill "Hello" that it belts out at every house.

What fun they had picking out their "Pink Panther" and "Bugs Bunny" ice cream treats.

Fort Niagara

Brett took the boys this weekend to Fort Niagara where there was a huge reenactment of the French and Indian War.  The boys brought their homemade guns they had just made with daddy and were ready to fight.  Later in the afternoon we went back with the baby when things were a bit more calmer to see the encampment.
