Last Days of School: Joshua

 Joshua celebrated his last days of school with a big surprise for his great teacher.  He just finished 2 years with her as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher so the kids threw her a Hawaiian Party.  She is going to Maui on vacation this summer so they presented her with lots of ideas of fun things to do there and gave her a gift certificate for her and her husband to choose an adventure.  They had lots of fun planning the surprise.  We will miss her she is a great gifted teacher!

Last Days of School: Matthew

This is Matthew's poster he put together earlier this year.

 Wow - Matthew has completed his first year of Kindergarten and just loved it.  He had a wonderful teacher - who he gets to continue with through a looping program at our school and will go through first grade with her also.  These pictures were from their classes last program of the year.  His teacher had put together a portfolio of all the special projects, art crafts and photos of events for this past year.  It was such a cute show and all the kids had so much fun singing for us!

Happy Fathers Day

 Happy Fathers day to the best daddy 
our kids could ever have!  

We had a great morning of getting ready for church, taking some pictures out on the patio and then coming home for a big steak lunch!  Then we took the kids to a local park and payed Lawn Darts and Bocci Ball and then out for ice cream.  It was great to spend the time together and enjoy being a family

Awana Awards Night

 Wow - another year of AWANA has ended and as always we look back at the year and are grateful for the boys being able to attend at a local church and enjoy their time learning Bible verses and playing games.

Joshua received the  Sparkie of the Year Award and will be ready to move up next year to the next group.

 Matthew was Sparkie if the Month in March and earned his award for finishing his first full book this year!  He looks forward to being in Sparks again next year.

Another Season of Soccer

 It is soccer time around our home again!  

This is such a fun time of the year spending time together out on the beautiful fields.  Both boys are really learning the sport and are on fun teams.  It is also a great time for Brett to do some backyard coaching - there are always 2 nets and lots of balls out there.

To top it off some evenings we turn on a great European Team Game - see the boys in Brett's old Germania Team jersey's - they were cheering for Germany that night!

Yummy Apples

 This is one of our fun places to take the kids.  The candy in this shop is super delicious and the candy apples are HUGE and come in lots of choices!

 It is always a highlight of our summer for a walk through town with lots of sticky fingers!

Lots of Bubbles

 A few weeks ago we had a beautiful hot sunny day and the bubble machine was brought out!  Brenna had so much fun with Sophia and Rayhaan laughing and giggling and chasing the bubbles all over the yard!
