Oh No, Broken Bones

Last night Joshua was being a brave pirate with his awesome pirate had that he made with Uncle Brian at the museum last year when all of the sudden he went to grab for his sword and fell off the ladder of the play set.....you all know what that can mean....yes, a broken arm.

Actually, he broke both bones on his left arm and got to take a fun ambulance ride to Children's Hospital. Dad and Mom were so thankful that he did not need surgery as originally thought. He is home today with a temporary cast and will get his new cool blue one next week. Yes, mommy did think to bring the camera with her to the hospital!

Here he is, pirate jammies and all! Not looking too happy though.

But don't worry…things got much better when the blue case was put on.

New DeSutter Baby

A big congratulations goes out to Brian, Lauren and big sis Emily. What a surprise it was to get the news that little Ryan Jacob entered the world. We cannot wait to hold him and give you all hugs....

Family Time

Last week my mom and dad come in from TX to spend some time with us. We were able to take advantage of beautiful (not too hot) New York summer weather.

Paca got to see Brenna for the first time.

Nana always brings in a few treats and this time it was real cowboy hats and authentic little boy lassos! They have been having a blast "roping" in the backyard.

Paca and Nana also took the boys to Fantasy Island - what a fun treat. Looks like they conked out though on the way home.

Over the weekend we went to one of our favorite places of all times - Niagara on the Lake. Here are some pictures of the floral gardens along the way.

Can you tell we love Ice Cream…

Some random pictures of the kids this summer….
