Ahhh...Starbucks

We may be staring them a bit too early, decaf of course. 

It was a fun start to an afternoon outing though.

Joshua Age 10 -- 5th Grade

This week we finally got the school year under way.  Both boys began a few days before Brenna and got off to a great start.  Josh was thrilled to have almost all of his best friends in his class and Matthew really has been having fun making some new friends.

 While the boys were enjoying their first day of school Brenna got to go in for a special time to meet her teacher and get to know her classroom.  Here she is outside her locker.  We practiced opening it and closing it and put her art smock and light-up gym shoes inside. Then, she was able to find her desk and draw a picture of herself while I helped her teacher get to know her a bit better.  I have always liked this  time with each of the three kids, it eases me into the day that they finally are gone.

Today was the day…all my little ones are now out of the house…it was a very quiet afternoon.

Brenna was just so very excited to go to school today.  She wanted to leave about an hour too early! My eyes were very teary, I have to admit, leaving that building this morning.  

I was so happy for her though, and glad she was not sad.

 Looks like it was a successful end to a week.  

 I even got a "Two-Thumbs-Up" from Brenna and "It was so awesome, mom!" was her comment.

Summer Golf Clinic & Porter Cup

 Mac and Brenna took lessons this summer at a near-by club.  

After each lesson we then got to load up in the carts and go out on the course for a few holes.

Later in the week we went up to Niagara Falls Country Club to watch the leader of the front 9.
