Merry Christmas 2014

This Christmas we traveled down to Atlanta to spend time with family.  It was quite a houseful with 5 sets of families sharing Paca and Nana's space (we missed the Westcott gang who got to be in Colorado this year for Christmas).   We had a great visit with everyone and it was so nice to be together and especially let all the cousins get to know each other again.  They all did a great job playing and getting along so great.  I couldn't help but take some pictures to post because I am not sure when we will have so many of us together again.

Finally a family photo - but then Dad jumped in for a photo bomb.

A lot of time was spent in the kitchen!!  Meals for 20 some is a production to say the least.
Mom was glad there were so many hands to help.
Even the guys pitched in with taking charge of the breakfasts.

Christmas morning started out with a big breakfast and then it was time to open gifts.

Matheson - so adorable and wanted to sit on all the boxes.
Dad and Mom supervising the chaos

After all the gift opening it was time to PLAY!  All the kids, moms and dads included, headed outside. There was lots of remote control car playing in the driveway and a rocket launching contest - followed by a big game of street football and playing in the park.

Paca and Emily - out for a run

Christmas Night - all the grand kids reading the Christmas Story

The older cousins  on a LEGO store outing - pretty fun to pick out your own Christmas gifts!

Back in NY - time to put daddy to work and put together all those Lego's.
