Welcome Baby Brenna Renee

We are so excited that our little daughter arrived yesterday. I posted some pictures above...such a joy to hold this little girl of ours. The big brothers were thrilled to get a sister and both are glad that they won the bet and get a hot-fudge-sunday!!! Both mom's or nana's I should say, were here to spend the day with us. Brett got to go and get them from the waiting room and they even were able to come into surgery recovery with us and hold little Brenna. Wow a family of 5- we are so thankful!!

Planting the Garden

Today we got to enjoy the day with Nana England (my mom) who has come in to see the new baby. I decided today to take her out to a pretty old farm that is now a nursery and we picked out everything for my new garden and then we spend the afternoon planting some seeds and plants. About an hour after ,the boys were all ready checking to see if they were growing----not yet I had to tell them, some seeds have a month or so to go! We had a nice afternoon.

Last Days as a Family of 4

Well.....Just a few days to go before baby comes so we took a few family pictures....this poor child will see like no pictures of his/her mommy pregnant. I have managed to take lots of boys pictures but not too many of us. Josh did a good job using the camera!

We decided to go out for 1 last dinner out - Anderson's Frozen Custard for yummy roast beef, curly fries and you guessed it - frozen custard. Delish!!!! It was a fun night out.

Stay tuned for BABY NEWS!

CONGRATULATIONS BRENT AND CATE

We just wanted to say a warm congrats to Uncle Brent and Aunt Cate who graduate from Texas A&M this weekend. We wish we could be there to give you hugs (maybe not so much so to sit through another graduation---HA HA ....we have had LOTS of those through the years in our family)!!! We love you!!!

Afternoon Soccer

Today we are finishing up yard work but took a little break for some much needed play. The boys ran up quickly to get changed into their soccer clothes - Joshua is on the Tim Hortons Timbits Team this year - LOVE their donuts by the way!!! Matthew decided today he was going to be the "lion" team - that means he was the Chelesa England Team--Nana England got that uniform for the boys when she lived in London - we have worn it over and over. Daddy and Joshua had some good shoot-outs and Mommy was the goalie and Matthew the coach - whistle and all!!!

Stephanie Stephanie Where are You?????

The season of mulch began (and thankfully) ended yesterday for the Long Family. I was so missing an important sister though......you know who you are.

Yesterday afternoon 7 yards of mulch (and 1 of dirt for my garden) were spread around out house. We do have to say it looks so nice to see all the green plants just "pop" out from black mulch. Another week or so and we can get our pots planted and we will be set for summer!!!
