We packed up again and headed down to Charlotte to visit the Tassy Family. Both Mr. and Mrs. Tassy along with Christopher and his wife Julie and two daughters, Harper and Ella, have lived there for a few years and we have been wanting to make the trip down.
It was so nice to be welcomed into both of their homes, enjoy wonderful conversation and for Brett to relive old soccer memories. And would't you know - they have been on a mission to find good pizza in Charlotte so we travel all the way down from Buffalo to go out to a very authentic (the guys were from Buffalo and modeled the restaurant after John's Pizza and Subs) Buffalo pizzeria. I guess we were pretty good judges to see if it passed the test - it did.
Chris and Julie have started their own candle making company Ella B. Pure Soy Candles so we got to take a tour of the office and the kids got to help make the first candles that are coming to be sold in Buffalo.
